David is a Chartered Accountant and a Qualified Auditor operating as a Sole Practitioner in Public Practice from an office in Newmarket, Auckland. David has been a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Society for the last 40 years. He specialises in audit of Not-For-Profit Clubs, Societies, Charities, Trusts and other Corporate entities.
David is currently a Trustee of the National Branch of the International Charity “United Way”, and a local Scout Association Trust.
His interest in photography started at an early age – his father was a photographer specialising in photographing the flowers in the very large family garden. On leaving home, David says his photography interest was mainly to capture landscapes and places visited throughout his travels, both locally and internationally.
To advance and improve his photographic skills, he joined the Auckland Photographic Society Inc (APS) seven years ago. In 2010 he played an integral role on the APS organising committee for the very successful Northern Regional Convention.
Aside from photography, David’s other interests include stamp collecting (NZ), tramping, travelling (overseas to see family), classic cars and motorsport, where he can often be found fulfilling an “official” role.
David is married to Hazel, with two married sons and two granddaughters.
