Responsibilities: PSNZ National and Regional Conventions

For the last 19 years Toya has worked in the field of Marketing and Information Technology, having had many roles including Trainer/Teacher, Technical Help Desk, Marketing Co-ordinator and IT Manager. This latter role included developing and managing their online presence, network and database systems administration and website development.

In the past Toya has served on the Hutt Camera Club committee, been the editor of their monthly Newsletter for many years, and past webmaster.

Toya also has event management experience, having been involved in organising and running many conferences and conventions for several community groups, with the last two such events being the 2009 and 2014 PSNZ Central Regionals in Lower Hutt.

For the last three years Toya has been working part-time as a contractor for the same company that she had worked full time at for the previous eleven years, doing the same tasks, along with some free lance web design work, thus giving her more hours to devote to the things she enjoys doing. Photography features prominently on this list.

Toya is a firm believer in the principle that contributing to the clubs and organisations she belongs to is just as important as enjoying the benefits on offer.
