The National Exhibition – Previous Years – 2008

The 57th National Exhibition (NATEX) was held in Timaru in mid April. This year Natex was convened by the Dunedin Photographic Society and displayed at the National Convention which was hosted by the Focus-Aorangi Photographic Society.

Our sincere thanks go to Canon New Zealand who has been, for many years, a wonderful supporter of our Society. Canon's major sponsorship of the National Exhibition has allowed a more affordable cost to entrants and greatly aided the Exhibition's success.

There were 228 entrants with images spread across the following categories

33% – Open Prints
14% – Nature Prints
34% – Open Projected Images
19% – Nature Projected Images
