PSNZ Central Regional Convention

This convention is being run by the Manawatu Camera Club.  They have attracted highly talented and motivational speakers, and organized fieldtrips and a set of workshops for every photographic interest.

They will take  you to the famous Cross Hill Rhododendron Garden.  The dates of the convention were chosen to coincide with the peak of the rhododendron flowering – amazing colours, amazing vistas. This is a huge garden over several acres of rolling land that will not disappoint.

Vintage Industrial will take you on a journey through Palmerston North’s industrial past. An early last century power station provides a multitude of photographic possibilities. The Hoffmann kiln or brick works – an unusual construction, derelict and mysterious – will challenge your photographic skills.

Last but not least the Champion Flour Mill which is still in use will amaze you with its  shapes and forms.

And there is more, much more –  just come and be surprised.
