SUMMARY:New Zealand Landscape Salon
DESCRIPTION:The Christchurch Photographic Society is inviting photographers to enter their New Zealand landscapes into the New Zealand Landscape Salon. This salon was previously called The Laurie Thomas Landscape Salon which has a rich legacy\, spanning 27 years of success.  \n\n\n\nEntry fees are $28 entitling photographers to enter up to 4 photographs into the Salon. There is a change to payments this year\, once registered and logged into the entry platform (at nzlandscapesalon.photo) entrants will be prompted to pay their fee via PayPal before being able to upload their images. If any entrants have difficulties using this PayPal system or uploading photos\, please do not hesitate to select Contact NZLS Support from the entry platform. \n\n\n\nAs per previous years\, there is a premium award and the distinctive sculptural trophy\, which the winner can keep. This remains the Laurie Thomas Trophy.  \n\n\n\nThe directive to the judging panel underscores a desire to honour photography of New Zealand landscapes that encapsulates an authentic sense of place. While we are open to a creative approach we do encourage pure photography skills. \n\n\n\nEntries open on Wednesday\, 01 May 2024\, and will close on Sunday\, 02 June 2024. \n\n\n\nPresentation of results will be at  7:30pm Wednesday\, 07 August 2024 at CPS. The Convening Judge this year is Annette Johnston FPSNZ
