DESCRIPTION:This hour long online tutorial will explore the following: \n\n\n\n\n·        Getting your head into the right space for ICM photography & how to keep that creative head space\n\n\n\n·        So how do you actually DO ICM? – exploring the fundamental ICM Camera techniques\n\n\n\n·        How to use ICM images as a component of multiple exposure images\n\n\n\n·        How to use ICM to create abstract imagery & why abstract imagery is important for  creativity\n\n\n\n·        How to use ICM in a landscape setting to create painterly photographs\n\n\n\n·        An introduction to post processing of ICM images using Photoshop\n\n\n\n\nJudy will be giving an online presentation\, sharing the skills she has learnt along her own photographic journey as well as interacting with you and giving you live exercises to explore this wonderful freeing world of moving your camera as you take an image.

SUMMARY:Whanganui Salon 2025 - Humanity and Earth
DESCRIPTION:The Whanganui Salon\, a pre-eminent national salon of photography from 1953 to 1992\, was re-established on the national photography calendar in 2019 after a gap of 27 years. With a thematic approach (Humanity and Earth) that distinguishes the Whanganui Salon from other national salons and attracting over 400 digital entries in 2019\, it was a great rebirth. Despite the challenges of Covid\, the 2021 and 2023 runnings of the Salon built upon the 2019 success and saw the awarding of the Vonnie Cave Gold Medal to the overall winners. We are now confident the salon\, running as a biennial\, will become a permanent event on the national photography scene\, enjoyed by those who are seeking a more boutique salon that showcases meaningful images about our world and our place within it. ​ \n\n\n\nThe Whanganui Salon will be open for entries on 1 April 2025\, closing midnight on 26 April.
