We are very pleased to be able to introduce our second Keynote Speaker and Natural Light Portraiture workshop presenter – Dave Sanderson.
Dave is an imaging professional; responsible for a team dedicated to imaging and online access at Archives New Zealand, a tutor at the highly regarded Photospace Gallery in Wellington and undertakes a variety of commercial and architectural photography for clients across Australasia, and when he gets time in between all that, he follows his first passion; portrait photography.
Dave studied for six years in conventional darkrooms and studios, before spreading his wings wider and studying a BA (Hons) degree in Digital Media, all in the UK. A New Zealand resident now since 2007, he devotes much of his focus to photographing people for the love of it, advocating having the courage to use photography to express your own stories and remembering that photography is first and foremost, a huge amount of fun.
