All you need to know about Canon NATEX 2016.
It’s Natex time again and hopefully you have been preparing your photographs in readiness to submit. To avoid disappointment by perhaps incorrect sizing or naming your images, or missing the closing deadline, the following information has been prepared by the host club, Southland Photographic Society.
Entries are now open and will close on 23rd February, 2016. Entries for selection in the Exhibition are open to any New Zealander, and overseas PSNZ member
The categories are:
Open – Print and Digital; Natural History – Print and Digital.
Each photographer may enter up to four images in each category with a total of sixteen (16) images, if entering each category.
Please note the following details for sizing your images:
Print Sizing:
The following dimensions include any mat applied to an image. Prints must not be under glass or framed.
- Minimum size of 230 mm x 180 mm
- Maximum size of 510 mm x 410 mm
- Maximum total thickness of 12.5mm
Projected Image Sizing:
All images must be saved as a JPEG with a maximum of 1620 pixels on the horizontal side and a maximum of 1080 pixels on the vertical side. It is recommended that images be saved in the sRGB colour space.
