This our second year in operation, we have maintained approximately the same number of applicants but received almost two thousand entries. Thank you to those who entered again this year and a special welcome to all the new participants who have ventured into this exciting way of presenting their photography. Congratulations to the many prize-winners.
Congratulations to Loren O’Connor for winning the supreme prize and gold award for the fusion section with her imaginative image called It’s For You. Silver was awarded to Barbara Lee with Reigning, and Noline Skeet receiving the bronze award with her image Tarawera Boats.
Jo Bryce took out the gold award for the Creative Focus with her image Final Destination. Anne Bastion with Paper Roll won silver and Kirsteen Redshaw bronze with She Acts Like Summer and Walks Like Rain.
The Surreal section was won by Anna White with Stardust. Noline Skeet was awarded silver with Moon Holding and Jo Bryce bronze with her image Day Dream.
Helen McLeod’s Willow image was awarded gold for Inspirational Square. The silver award went to Dean Fearn with Reflection and the bronze to Jay Drew with The Piano Room.
A very special thank you goes out to Deb Young, Michael Boyd-Clarke and Joy Kachina for their wonderful wisdom and creative flair to choose the winners from such a strong pool of great images.
