Spring is here, Christchurch is beginning to bloom with the first daffodils coming out, budding blossoms and the familiar sight of ducklings in Hagley Park. Spring is a very pretty time of year in the Garden City; and all will be blooming when APIX PSNZ Southern Regional starts here on 3rd October.
Seeing the first spring flowers reminded me that October is not far away. Richard Loader along with his wonderful group from the Rangiora Photographic Society have been busy handling entries for the Southern Regional Salon. They have developed a welcoming website to enable people to enter their images with ease. Just a reminder that salon entries close on 23rd August so if you have not yet entered now is a good time to start thinking. Go to the Rangiora Photographic Society Webiste.
I caught up with Trevor Draffin from APIX who is looking forward to coming to Christchurch, along with a couple of his people from Auckland. It is great to have support from APIX as our main sponsor.
I am in the process of updating our website. There will be a dinner only option added to the registration page $60.00 over the next few days.
