Following a revision of PSNZ Honours Guidelines, the Chairman of the Honours Board, Paul Byrne FPSNZ, has developed five online tutorials relative to the Honours system. These tutorials provide an insight to the composition and operational functionality of Board, as well as offering tips and advice about how to approach an application for an Honours Distinction. The tutorials set out to answer a number of frequently asked questions. More importantly, they add practical information and advice about what to include and what to avoid when creating a photographic portfolio.

At the present time, five tutorials are available. These vary in length between five minutes and 18 minutes. The tutorials can be viewed as often as necessary and at any time to suit individual applicants. In total, approximately 50 minutes of information and knowledge is shared with prospective candidates. Whilst the Honours Board is a judicial function of PSNZ, and is responsible for maintaining high standards of excellence, it is also here to help, encourage and provide assistance to members whenever possible. Should you have any questions in respect of the hours system, please contact Sue Wagenaar, APSNZ in
the first instance via psnzhonours@gmail.com.
