Happy New Year from PSNZ, everyone. Time to start sorting through those award-winning images and compiling your entries for the PSNZ Canon National Exhibition of Photography for 2013.
Entries opened today, and close on 6 March. Full details of NATEX are available at the page kcps.org.nz/natex2013.
This year, an online system for completing the entry form and uploading digital images is available at jotform.co/NATEX2013/ENTRY. This is by far the preferred method. However, if you wish, a hard copy entry form can also be downloaded from kcps.org.nz/natex2013 for printing, completion and mailing.
Don’t forget that the specifications for Digital Projected Images are different this year – a maximum of 1920 pixels across and a maximum of 1080 pixels high. The Nature rules and definitions have also been updated, and there is a new PSNZ Nature Code of Conduct.
Following a recent decision of the PSNZ Council, the Richard Ratcliff Marine Award will also now go to the best maritime print or digital projected image. Previously, this switched between prints and projected images for alternate years.
Our thanks to Canon for their generous sponsorship and support of the National Exhibition of Photography.
