Well done to all those who had images accepted for the Nelson National Triptych Salon. Special congratulations to Alistair McCauslan APSNZ who took out the Champion Print with “A Gannet Study”, and to Sarah Stirrup for her Champion Digital Image “The Red Room”.
Full results as well as all the Salon images can be seen on the Nelson Camera Club website at http://www.nelsoncameraclub.co.nz/triptych-results/.
Nelson’s Red Gallery was the setting recently for some 65 guests to enjoy wine, fine food and a first viewing of the Salon exhibition.
Leader of the Salon Organising Team Don Pittham thanked the many people and organisations that had helped make the competition such a successful event. These included not only major sponsors Canon and Post Haste Couriers but also PSNZ whose support had been one hundred percent since the Salon was first announced.
Following a showing of the successful Digitally Projected Images, major awards were presented to those winners who were able to be present. The subsequent week-long exhibition experienced extremely good “foot traffic” with seven images being sold.
