Today’s events included a presentation by Kaye Davis, explaining some of the processes she uses for her impressive and award-winning images.
There were more workshop sessions, including a repeat of one on High Speed Photography masterminded by Udo von Mulert. There were limited numbers for this, and I was lucky enough to get a place. It was a unique opportunity to try this out, and to learn that you could indeed try this at home as well.
Here, for example, is a photo I took with no previous experience at this. That’s Udo throwing the ball.
Thanks to the Manawatu Camera Club for organizing a great convention, and all the speakers and sponsors, and the caterers. All the attendees have had a great time, and are going home inspired, and probably a little heavier.
