Thanks to the continued generous support of SONY, the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ) is pleased to announce the 2024 SONY National Digital Salon.  This digital-only salon aims to fill the gap caused by the change in the national convention date and the subsequent postponement of the traditional SONY Exhibition.

Eligibility: Submissions are open to any person residing in New Zealand and to members of the Photographic Society of New Zealand residing overseas.

Sections:
You may enter a maximum of four (4) images per section (a maximum of 8 images).

• Open Digital
• Nature Digital (PSNZ's Nature Rules)

Judges:

• Judging will take place 2-20 July
• Each section will be judged separately
• Results: No later than 30 July 2024

Open Images

• Paul Byrne, FPSNZ ARPS AFIAP
• Shona Jaray, APSNZ
• Ann Bastion, Hon PSNZ FPSNZ EFIAP/b MFIAP

Nature Images

• John Reid, APSNZ
• Shona Keeble, FPSNZ
• Roger Thwaites, APSNZ

Awards for each section (Open and Nature): (Only one award will be made to any image)

Champion Image: PSNZ Trophy and a photography voucher to the value of $500.00
PSNZ Silver Medal (up to 2 per section)
PSNZ Bronze Medal  (up to 3 per section)
PSNZ Honours Ribbon (up to 5 per section)

Acceptances up to 50% of all entries per section.

 

Entries will be accepted from 1st June (9:00 am) to 30th June (5:00 pm).
