This convention is being hosted by the Ashburton Photographic Society who have arranged a great line-up of speakers.
Allan Dick editor of NZTODAY who has photographed landscapes etc. throughout New Zealand. Roland Dale who has tramped the rugged terrain of Fiordland where no man has been before and Geoff Burns from the Christchurch Police Forensic team who followed the Christchurch earthquakes and of course has many other interesting experiences to share as well.

There are two interesting field trips with lots of photographic opportunities to which transport is provided. Longbeach Estate with beautiful gardens full of old established trees complete with chapel & pond along with farm building and vehicles awaits us.
Also Ashburton Aviation Museum which has added a large new hangar to house a DC3 and many more planes besides. This will come complete with pilots to share their stories.
