What’s on in February

Here are some of the things that are happening in the world of PSNZ in the coming weeks. 


Canon Online

25 February
The Canon Online Competition is a digital bi-monthly competition for PSNZ members. There are six rounds during the year, and Round 1 closes on 25 February. You can find the submission forms and rules in the members area of the website (https://photography.org.nz ).

Workshop

25-26 February
The first workshop of 2022 will be held at Bushy Park Tarapuruhi (Whanganui) photographing birds with Toya Heatley. Places are still available for what will be a brilliant and informative weekend.

Sony National Exhibition

28 February
Although the PSNZ National Convention is not going ahead, the Open and Nature digital sections of Sony National Exhibition ARE still happening. (There will be no print classes.)
This is already open and closes 28 February.

Interclub competitions (salons)

1 March

  • Whiltshire Cup is for a set of four digital photographs
  • Bowron Landscape Trophy for a set of four digital landscape photographs.

These are both already open and close on 1 March https://photography.org.nz/interclub-salons/
The print competitions are not being held this year.


Camera Talk

The NZ CameraTalk, the official digital magazine of PSNZ, is published every two months starting at the end of February each year. The deadline for the next issue is 25 March.

Items to be included: articles, updates on activities, news, should be sent directly to the editor, Mark Chamberlain at michamberlain@icloud.com.

Further Workshops
