FUJIFILM Masterclass | Tramping photography with Dennis Radermacher

7 December @ 8:00 AM 8 December @ 5:00 PM

We’re excited to invite you to a unique Fujifilm NZ event led by Dennis Radermacher, the creative mind behind @lightforge and a seasoned tramping photographer with over 20 years of experience. Known for his work with Wilderness Magazine, Dennis captures the rugged beauty of New Zealand’s wilderness with a thoughtful, creative approach. This workshop is a hands-on opportunity to refine your tramping photography skills.

The event spans two days, combining an outdoor photography session and a post-production workshop.

Day One: Saturday, 7th December (6:15 PM – 9:15 PM)
Join us in the scenic Christchurch Port Hills for a hands-on evening session at sunset. Dennis will guide you through key techniques such as safety, gear selection, and creative decision-making. You’ll put these skills into practice during a live shoot with a model—don’t forget to bring your camera!

Day Two: Sunday, 8th December (9:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
The event continues in Christchurch’s CBD with a morning post-production workshop. Dennis will demonstrate his editing process, offering insights to enhance your images and refine your workflow. Breakfast is on us!

Fujifilm will organise X or GFX camera and lens loans tailored for each attendee upon request.

More details on meet-up locations will be shared with ticket holders.

In case of adverse weather, the event will be postponed to the 1st and 2nd of February.

$70

PSNZ Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of the PSNZ Workshop Series and that the workshops are generally for small groups and often over-subscribed, cancellations can have a significant financial and attendance effect on the workshop, as well as creating a lot of further administration work.

Although we do everything possible to ensure our workshops proceed, sometimes there are things beyond our control.

  • PSNZ reserves the right to postpone or cancel a workshop due unforeseen circumstances e.g. facilitator illness, venue access issues, etc. In the event we do cancel a planned workshop, we will attempt to inform attendees as soon as possible and in most cases you will be given an alternative date to attend or provided with a full refund of the workshop costs.
  • If a workshop is postponed, the first right of refusal will be given to those who were already booked on that workshop for the rescheduled workshop.
  • Should a workshop fail to attract a required minimum number of attendees to make it viable to run, PSNZ reserves the right to cancel the workshop.
  • PSNZ will not accept responsibility for travel and accommodation costs incurred by attendees.
  • Attendees may cancel their booking if they give 60 days’ notice prior to the commencement of their workshop and receive a full refund less a $20 administration fee.
  • If attendees give less than 60 days’ notice, then we will do our best to fill your place from the waitlist. If we are able to do this, we will refund your fee less a $20 administration fee. Otherwise no refund will be made.
  • PSNZ may give a full refund if there are exceptional circumstances involved in a person not being able to attend.
