We still have spaces available for the judge training workshop in Timaru on 1 st and 2 nd July 2017. The venue is The Red Cross Hall in Banks Street, Timaru. It is easily recognisable and has plenty of parking.
The workshop starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and runs until approximately 5:30 p.m. On Sunday it starts at 9:00 a.m. and finishes at approximately 3:30 p.m. Members of PSNZ and members of affiliated clubs are invited to attend.
There is no charge for financial members of PSNZ and a small charge for those who are not financial members. There is no expectation that those who attend will continue on to the training to become a PSNZ Accredited Judge.
The workshop aims to provide those attending with a good understanding of the standards expected for club judging. You will be taken through a process of image evaluation and critiquing which will help you to put aside your personal prejudices and bias to give a balanced and informed critique.
Comprehensive handout notes are provided at the beginning of the workshop. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea are provided. If you are interested in attending, please email shona@shonajaray.com It will be first in, first served – the maximum capacity is 30.
