Nelson National Triptych Salon: Exhibition and Results

Thanks go to all those who entered and supported this year’s Nelson National Triptych Salon. Congratulations to entrants who had images accepted and especially to Marie Bilodeau who took out the Champion Print with “Chilling Out”, and to Kevin Chong for his Champion Digital Image “The Butterfly”.

The opening of the Salon’s exhibition at Morrison Street Cafe, Nelson gave the assembled company the chance to enjoy glasses of wine, savour tasty “nibbles” and express their opinions and admiration of the twenty eight award-winning prints selected for display.

After a viewing of the digitally projected images Johno Reilly, local Branch Manager of major sponsor Post Haste couriers, and Simon Burge of Nelson City Cameras, representing the Salon’s other major sponsor Canon, presented trophies and certificates to award winners.

Following a good flow of viewers, currently five prints have red “sold stickers” displayed against them – an indication of the strength and success of the exhibition

The prints remain on display at Morrison Street Cafe and the projected images are on view at Nelson City Cameras until Saturday 19 October.
