I am also aware that keynote speakers Ken Ball and Wendy Verity have reported on the event in their mentoring newsletter. This is what Ken had to say:
“The Nelson conference was extremely well organised, thanks to Peter [Wise] and his hard working committee of Irene Callaghan, Jon Coe, Ian Grant, Hana Bjorklund and Heather Harley.
We were joined as keynote speakers by Esther Bunning whose creative work is really worth looking at and she certainly deserves her role as a Nikon Ambassador. The conference exhibition showed some amazing work by members of the club; the field trip to Higgins Heritage Park, in Wakefield, provided some relaxing shop talk moments
…and a chance to use those cameras on interesting subjects.”
