Many conventioneers were up early today to head off to the Anzac Dawn Service in Picton, dawn at Waikawa Bay, and other sites. There were seven different workshops this morning. I was on the one with Peter Eastway. Here is Peter briefing everyone – I think he might have been saying how big his Phase One camera was. 😉
After taking our photos, we headed back to Blenheim for a session where he showed some Photoshop techniques for post production on a few images.
The PSNZ Annual General Meeting was at 1 pm, with a good sized attendance.
We took the opportunity to give a big thank-you to just some of the many people off-Council who help out running the Society.
As newly elected President, Murry Cave addressed the AGM, outlining his vision for the Society. On the podium from the left are outoging Secretary Anne Tate, outgoing President (and new IPP) Shona Jaray, Treasurer David Knightley, and newly elected Vice President Peter Robertson.
Here’s the other incoming Councillors – from left, Norma Bartum, Rodney Adamson, Moira Blincoe, Jenny Dey, Aliah Jan, Shona Kebble and Peter Wise.
And the new Secretary, Patrice Nilsen.
The AGM recorded a vote of thanks to outgoing President Shona Jaray. Shona recognised and thanked Anne Tate for her sterling service and commitment over the last ten years, and also the three departing Councillors – former President Ron Parry, William Wright, and Neil Gordon.
Anne took the chance for her last word as Secretary at the AGM. 🙂
